Hello and another good day to you.
Good day to you as well Smiley

I'm glad to read that you consider the introduction on the egg of time as adequate.
Absolutely.

If he (Dunkelherz) would agree to work in a team on the translation, i would be pleased. But in case he want to work alone, or with a probably already existing team, i will wait for his / their translation, of course.
I will contact Dunkelherz and get back to you with his response as soon as I hear from him.

Hehe. I'm a little dumbfounded on your reply to what i wrote.
I was impressed by what you wrote. I thought you made really good connections from EiA to the metaphysical, spiritual, humorous - you even mention the bard Wink.

Greetings from a currently sunny land Smiley
Greetings from a cloudy & humid land Cool

Helge,

I must start off by giving you our sincere thanks. Your write up about “Et in Arkay Ego” on The Egg of Time is absolutely magnificent!!! I do not have your skill with languages, but I was able to translate what you wrote with iGoogle-Translate. It was an amazing experience for me as the project leader of EiA to read what you wrote. We (The EiA MOD Team) appreciate so much that you shared your experience with “Et in Arkay Ego" on this forum. Furthermore, we are thrilled and grateful that you took the time and effort to share this so eloquently with others on The Egg of Time.

Finally, we are truly honored that you have asked our permission to translate EiA version 1.2 to the German language. It is our incredible privilege that, two weeks ago, a TES Nexus member named Dunkelherz also asked our permission to translate “Et in Arkay Ego” to German. We happily gave Dunkelherz permission to begin work on translating the quest and dialogue. I wonder if you have any interest in working with Dunkelherz on the translation? It would be my pleasure to contact him on your behalf.

Please, let me know if you are interested at all in working with Dunkelherz. You most definitely have our permission to work with him on the translation. I think your insight and talents would absolutely benefit the translation process. I must repeat that it is such a great honor that you would give your time, talents and effort to help others experience “Et in Arkay Ego.”

I greatly look forward to hearing from you.

Good day to all you.

My name is Helge, i am from germany and 27 years old. And i have recently played the plugin from beginning to the end. I was impressed by the storys depth, the design and the effort you bring into this. There are not many plugins for this game on this level of qualitity. Indeed I have experienced only three comparable quests, namely Tears of the fiend, Malevolent and Ruined tails tale, all from Symiaz. Comparable meant comparable in quality, not content, of course. But see, i didn't play much user made quests until now. In fact your Quest impressed me so much, that i have introduced it to a german community on the egg of time, a wonderfull site all about Oblivion and oblivion modding.

Here is the link, if you want to see*: http://www.ei-der-zeit.com/board/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=3681

And now comes the question i want to ask you, both, Mara and Chris.
I would, in case you both want to give me the permission, translate the 1.2 Version of the quest to the german language, so it can be played by people hwo can't speak english good enough to follow the excellent dialogues.

Greetings and sorry for eventually misspelling,
Helge / Nyarlat Ho tep.

*Attention - german language.

You are very welcome! I am glad you enjoy the new power. Now that you've received the reanimate dead power, this would be a great time for your character to spend some time exploring the locations, talking to the new NPCs, or maybe getting some sleep. A new day may bring new paths to light Wink. And, remember, your quest is not over until the credits roll and the music plays.

Thanks for the great question!

Ah, Schonfield, he received much criticism in his time, partly, i think, due to the fact that he was of the Hebrew faith. Yet, he wrote nothing that was offensive, and did not question the divinity of jesus. in fact, schonfield made it clear that his proposition was that whether or not jesus believed himself to be divine, jesus believed himself to be needed at that time, hence the idea that he made preparations to make himself appear divine. this is an important distinction.

i have not read the jesus papers, alas, i have not read much lately, however, i do seem to recall reading a news article in the late 70's regarding the shroud being produced with photographic chemicals [?] and the little furor that the article created because mainstream scientists agreed with the findings.

i remember being somewhat taken aback, however, that someone would bother to create a hoax about so obscure an item. to what end?

indeed, the only reason the possibilities encountered in alternative history studies are interesting, is because the side with the biggest sword usually writes mainstream history. i marvel at the thought of how much history has actually been lost.

what intrigues me the most is the idea of history itself, and how is comprised of what are basically, stories told by people, stories that may be true or not.

there is an old navajo saying, "that story may not be true, but it is real."

my current interest is the "paradise lost" idea, the kind of story that has a version in almost all cultures: humanity lived in a paradise, but then "fell" and was cast out of paradise.

the one "explanation" that i am currently studying involves the whole tigris, euphrates river delta as the possible birthplace of agriculture.

i'm beginning to wander...

Hello, i have a problem when I have to find the Shepherds, When I arrive at the mark there is two bodies naked and dead, and one guy (matthew septim) that doesn't say anything interesting , when I enter the gori garlas priory, I find nothing... please what I did wrong??? there is a way to fix??? Anyway thanks for the mod...
And sorry my english Tongue I hope I was clear

Yes, you are perfectly clear Smiley. I am very sorry to hear of your trouble. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You are not doing anything wrong. In Version 1.0 the enemies at that location had been tuned into harmless deer. When we cleaned the EiAMod.esp for V1.1, the process accidentally changed the deer back into enemies. I am sorry for your inconvenience.

To fix your problem right away there are two options.

Option One: You can email me and I will send you a patch that will fix the problem and let you continue. To email me, click here: mlyon@etinarkayego.com.

Option Two: Or, if you prefer, you can use the console command to bring the two shepherds back to life. The process for that is the following:

1) While you are in the game go to the place where you can see the two dead shepherds on your screen.
2) Once you are there, press the tilde key “~” This will open the Console Command allowing you to enter text.
3) Use your mouse pointer to left click on the dead NPC (their name and ID will appear at the top of the screen if you have selected them successfully.)
4) With the NPC selected type in “resurrect” (no quotes) and press the “Enter” key.
5) Repeat this for the second dead shepherd
6) To Exit the Console Command, press the tilde key “~” again.

I would only use this in an emergency circumstance (such as this) as it reduces some of the reality of the gaming experience.

I look forward to hearing from you and getting the problem fixed so you can continue with EiA! Grin Thank you again.
